Palm Springs....no Coachella, thank you.

My toes are where Frank's toes once were....

A few days in the desert. Enjoyed some time at the Frank Sinatra estate for a lovely party hosted by the guardian angel/designer Jeremy Scott for adidas. Cocktails were refreshing & delicious....Belvedere IX (with antioxidant acai fruit!) and IZZE natural sparkling juice (our major fav!!!). This gorgeous bartender mixed it with IZZE grapefruit for a serious treat that kept the tight list of guests (Justice, Peaches Geldof, pop-culture phenomenon Jonny Makeup, Kanye, Robyn, Keala Kennelly, Zoe Kravitz, Aziz Ansari AND most importantly MY friends LOL) hydrated, smiling and dancing til 4AM!

Sing it ala Grace Jones. Warm.....leatherette. White leather a moment avec Jeremy
.

Fantastic friend and incredibly talented makeup artist Roxy pampered some VIPs @ Frank's former estate pre-party with her amazing Intracueticals oxygen facial machine using the same products and technology that Madonna is famous for enjoying. Incredible to see the difference, especially somewhere so dry and hot. Fine lines...banished away. Completely understand why M is addicted. Faces look fuller, more lifted and glowing. It is the machine...and Roxy's magic touch and calming energy as well.

In Search of Snow....1 hour away from Hollywood

Bored on a Sunday? Nothing better than a Sunday drive with someone along for adventure (especially when the Mini gets such fantastic gas mileage AND is fun to drive along those curvy roads). We set out with no particular agenda other than the quest for snow.... Would it be a fruitless search in the middle of April in Los Angeles County?
It was REALLY warm at the bottom of the mountain, somewhere in the 80s and very arid.

We looked @ the map and decided to head to Mt. Baldy as neither of us had been there. We stopped @ Walmart somewhere in the valley....it was for me, like visiting another country. Really fascinating.... Some cool jelly gladiator sandals in the kids dept. looked pretty stylish on my little feet and how cool is this little pom pom animal kit?!

We took a fairly empty tram up the mountain. The temperature was about 40ish at the top.

My snow art....

Full wardrobe change. The Russian hat for the Jeskimo look was actually brought along for style...I'll admit, but was completely neccessary to keep warm! My partner in crime is camera shy so he shall remain anonymous here, but thanks to him for the very 60s pic.
Snow melts midway down the mountain. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful....the sound of that rushing water....I hopped across some rocks to sit mid-stream and meditate a bit.

Muscle Car

How insane is this new Dodge Charger? I can't help it ya'll. I may be a classy lady but you can't get the Southern roots out of what makes my pupils dilate sometimes ;) Loving the car companies doing these new versions while keeping the essence of the old school hotness there.

I snapped photos of the car, not noticing at all the driver, parked in front of the Riviera hotel in Palm Springs. Well, it wasn't a hot guy in the seat. It was none other than Audrina from The Hills. Sometimes one just cannot escape the inescapable. C'est la vie & LOL. I have to say she was quite a nice girl and we chatted about the"interesting" world of creative editing on that show. She didn't seem half as ditzy as I hear she is portrayed. Why not exploit the system back?! She's working it. She enjoys the spotlight, so good on her for making the most while she can. Time & $$ help to heal wounds ;)
